Biographie
Fernando ESTIMÉ graduated in Political Science from INAGHEI. He is also a Specialist in Economic Diplomacy and Commercial Policy. Since 2012, he has been Research Director at LIDGA. ESTIMÉ has a background in International Security related to Non-Proliferation and Nuclear Disarmament from the Instituto Matias Romero de Estudios Diplomaticos of the SRE of Mexico. The specialist in international relations also works as a Consultant for various Haitian and foreign institutions. Foreign Policy Advisor, Mr. ESTIMÉ was Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Haiti from November 2014 to October 2015.
Young jovial and dynamic, he is one of the most important experts of the relational complex in the Haitian media environment and regularly publishes columns in the columns of the main newspapers of the country. A great speaker with a deep sense of humor, his qualities as Master of Ceremonies are no longer to be demonstrated and his lectures are highly prized.
He took advantage of fertile ground to present the programs Sans Frontières and Espace International, respectively on Radio Television Caraïbes (RTVC, Channel 22), and on the waves of Radio Television Espace (RTVE, 94.1 FM, Channel 34) to democratize international affairs in Haiti. A fan of social media, Fernando ESTIMÉ is the most followed public figure on Facebook in Haiti with more than 800,000 people subscribed to his page. He has already received several distinctions for his immeasurable achievements.
From different fields of study, in 2018 many personalities from civil society, who are among others fans of one of his shows: Sans Frontières, joined forces and gave him a plaque of Honor and Merit for his work in the democratization of international affairs in Haiti. He also received the « Emerging Minds of Haiti » award in 2018. In 2019, he received a distinction from UPAD. For the year 2020, he has just received a new distinction from LIDGA for its awareness-raising work on the coronavirus at « FERNANDO LIVE ».
